Dr Juan Arteaga is a Board Certificated MD with over 30 years of experience in South Florida.
Dr Juan Arteaga did his Residency in the Jackson Memorial Hospital/University of Miami in addition to working there for 10 years. He also enjoyed being an instructor for the medical school for University of Miami, University of Florida and Nova University; helping him share his passion for educating future medical professionals. His passion for teaching also is reflected in the time he spends with each patient to help inform them in how to optimize their health.

We are a Coumadin Clinic. Which means we are an office that monitors Prothrombin Time and INR labwork for patients on Coumadin and recommend changes in Coumadin dosage as necessary. Prothrombin time (PT) is a blood test that measures how long it takes blood to clot. A prothrombin time test can be used to check for bleeding problems. PT is also used to check whether medicine to prevent blood clots is working.
